Not quite as foggy today as yesterday. We decided to visit the Morton Hall Garden Centre to get a new pot for the palm tree in the living room. Since we are carless we combined it with a lovely walk through the Hermitage and up Howe Dean Path and into the Braid Hills. I hadn't been up there in ages and I don't think I have ever been past horsy place and Morton Hall. Really must go back up there and walk through the Braid Hills to Fairmilehead. We got our pot and lugged it home in our shopping trolley. All in all we walked 13km. Nice walk, finding new bits of town and got what we were after. A good day out.
The buildings past the sheep are part of the Kings Buildings campus of the University of Edinburgh. A nice view I must explore on a sunny day.
