Wimbleball Reservoir

About 50 years ago I walked the land which is now under the reservoir with my boss who was handling all the compensation claims for the Puxton Park Estate who owned all the land and cottages which were also compulsorily acquired. The then owner was a real English eccentric but charming!

This was taken at a spot known as Haddon Hill just on the edge of Exmoor.
