The Master's House, Lambeth Workhouse
We are into our 14th week of restrictions. What this has included is staying within a mile radius of where we live. When we moved to Central London we made a decision to get rid of our car so we have gone exploring on foot.
Today we explored north of the Elephant and Castle and came upon this gem. This view is shot looking towards Elephant and you can see a building nicknamed as the Lipstick.
The building in the foreground is part of the former Lambeth Workhouse, which Charlie Chaplin entered as a child when his mother faced destitution. It now houses the Cinema Museum which is on our list of places to visit once lockdown is over.
The thumbnail is of the water tower that has been converted into an interesting flat. It is such a contrast to the surrounding block of flats.
