White Roses, Grey Sky

Still dismal outside but getting warm and humid. Not at all surprised that we had a very heavy shower late afternoon that set off the flood alarm.

On the walk today, I've seen lots of white roses. I rather liked this view of the roses against a dull sky.

I managed to record a track for Gareth Malone using my iPad and my phone playing from YouTube. Successfully uploaded along with a self portrait that was, frankly, not in focus, but it would do.

Then I looked up a Chinese dish which mate Michael Lau had demonstrated how to make on his YouTube channel, Chow with Lau. I do wish he'd post a list of ingredients and a textual summary of the method as well. I had to make notes as I was watching the video.

Then I changed the sheets before they walked off the bed folding up the electric blanket while I was about it.

And then it rained.

Time to cook now.
