Rose ruffles

Spent a bit of time in the garden this morning, cutting back things that were trying to take over, dead heading and weeding. The plan to fill the beds with plants so that there is no room for weeds seems to be coming together.

I like the delicate pink ruffles of this rose, and it smells gorgeous too. I think it’s called generous gardener, and it’s spreading nicely against our very 1970’s concrete front wall.
