The Next Train ....

I thought that they'd stopped using these old destination indicator boards years ago. I remember seeing these things when I was a child. My brother collects antique railway memorabilia and has had one of these in his collection for at least 15 years, now. Most railway stations show computers screens but at Mt Victoria these wonderful old manual boards are still in everyday use. I think they are brilliant. They are quick and simple to use and impossible to misread. They exhibit a high degree of common sense, practicality and plain old sanity.
