Solidarity

I totally agree with this sentiment. However, I can't say that I am totally comfortable with the BLM hashtag, but in a way I suppose that we are not supposed to feel comfortable with it. I guess that at the end of the day I have a much wider and more inclusive view of humanity than a lot of people. The thing that I can't get out of my head is that most, if not all, racist attitudes are based in past religious fervour, and the noble savage and all that. There is absolutely no place in today's world for such thinking, and it should be met with the harshest of penalties - maybe treating racists in the same way that they treat their targets.
