Song Thrush

I was up and out early this morning and had walked 5 miles before 8am.  The weather was lovely and there was some interest in the sky.  First extra is the sky over Arnside.

When I returned home I sat down with a cup of coffee and my binoculars in the bay window facing the garden and was thrilled to spot a hawfinch in the trees at the end of the garden.  I dashed upstairs to get the long lens but was too late to record its visit.  I did however use the long lens to record this lovely song thrush.  

I have put in the second extra as a bit of fun.  It should be titled, "He's behind you!"
