Victory

A yucky wet and humid day. I didn't go far. Yesterday I checked out the prices of display cases for my space shuttle and H.M.S. Victory models. ¥1,200 was not too bad for the space shuttle model so I bought that yesterday, but  ¥19,000 for the H.M.S. Victory model's display case was ridiculous. So today, I got creative. 


I went to Conan this morning and bought a shelf unit for ¥1,900. I also bought a clear plastic table cover for ¥900, and two push lights for ¥348 each. When I assembled the shelf unit, I left out the middle shelf and then pinned the clear plastic table cover to the front of the unit and put the two lights on the top. Voila! ¥16,000 saved. 

Pity the fool!
