Pretty ................

 ............ blue holly flowers.    What??

Walked out of the back door, looked to the left and saw the holly had blossomed.    
Walked over, silly me - some toadflax had got entwined with a small holly bush and it looked, for all the world, like blue holly flowers.   Duh! 
The dark blue and the dark green go well together though.


Smile for the Day:


A chicken runs into a library and goes up to the main desk saying " Book bock bok bok bok booook "  the librarian gives him a book , the chicken tucks it under his wing and runs out.

A while later the chicken runs back into the library, throws the book on the desk and says " Book book bok bok bok booook "   the librarian gives him another book which he again tucks under his wing and runs out.


A few minutes later the chicken is back, throws that book on the counter and is given a third and runs out ....... but this time the librarian follows him.


The chicken runs down the steps, along the road, across the park and down to the river where a large frog is sitting on the bank.
The chicken gives the book to the frog - the frog looks at it and says " read-it read-it read-it ....... "
