The hawthorn with its beautiful scented flowers

It has been an up and down day. The weather wasn't great and so more inside tasks called for attention.
The endless sorting of books and papers!
Things feel a lot more organised but increasingly I find 'stuff " a bit overwhelming. Less is definitely more for me these days.
I transplanted some marigolds over to the area in front of the hut and will also add some nasturtiums from one of the many pots around the garden.
I had a short walk by myself and also a walk in the village with J.
Finding absence of the dear people in my life increasingly difficult - particularly with the news showing emotional reunions every day .
Very grateful for what we have.
