Linseed Flower

For our walk this morning, I took Pepper along a farm track we used in the past and now overwhelmed with the development of a road and a new housing estate. It is changing. I haven't been along here for a couple of months and, due to the Covid lockdown, not much has changed with the building progress. I came across a field of Linseed just beginning to flower which might be spectacular soon, although it might not be easily accessed; a little insect  has photobombed the frame!

John and I walked to the allotment afterwards and watered the plants, getting home just ahead of a very heavy rain & thunderstorm, so we needn't have bothered with the watering!!
