Socially distanced garden visit

Went to see some friends who we haven’t seen for three months, to have a look around their garden and to have a socially distanced ‘bring your own lunch”.
They have nearly three acres of beautifully tended flower beds, lawns, wild flower area, masses of unusual trees and the biggest veg plot I have ever seen.
They have been spending five hours a day in the garden since lockdown. They normally open their garden for the NGS but not sure what is going to happen this year. I normally make and serve 100 slices of cake for her each time she opens the garden. She makes the other 100 slices. Whatever the NGS decide, we won’t be able to serve tea and cakes now and that will mean a lot of people don’t come. Half the fun of visiting a garden is having tea!!!
