The Adam Bridge
We decided that today would be a nice day for walking around the grounds at Compton Verney, an art gallery situated just off the Fosse Way in South Warwickshire.
The parkland was designed by Capability Brown sometime during the 18th century and is quite beautifully laid out.
J’s sister and brother-in-law joined us and we spent a couple of hours wandering around and loving the plants, trees, flowers, and wildlife, including a fox cub.
The photo is of The Adam, or West Bridge over the lake and leading towards Compton Verney House.
We are members here so can come and go as often as we like throughout most of the year and the different seasons, sometimes taking a picnic. Great place to visit and they have a very good diary of exhibitions and events
