Finally!

I’m so happy that after 10 days of abysmal weather the sun finally burned through the mist and soon after lunch, it was pleasant again, if somewhat steamy. I was able to sit by the pond once more and count the newts. Even better, a few butterflies put in an appearance. They have been in very short supply for about a month now so here’s hoping the floodgates will open - metaphorically speaking! I’m taking a chance and putting the moth trap out tonight.
