Bringing in the Catch

Hurrah...after a week of rain and being stuck indoors, a 'group' walk with B and H.  We went to West Runton Beach as there is plenty of room there to spread out.  Sometimes hearing what each other was saying above the sound of the waves was a bit challenging at times but other than that it was a great success.  There was a lot of activity in the sea, some people with kayaks and others were surf boarding in the choppy sea. They had to negotiate this fishing boat being hauled out the water.
There was still some light mist around after all the rain we've had and this photo was taken into the morning sun so it makes the sky look grey, but actually it was a lovely start to the day with plenty of blue sky.  The temperature soared this afternoon, so much so, I had to postpone my planned afternoon of gardening...it was way too hot and the sun UV levels felt very high.
