Back on the bikes today...
...but it was a bit like Wacky Races out there...
We knew when we came around the corner near the reservoir that biking the lanes on a Saturday was a silly mistake - so many cars parked in the village it was like Piccadilly Circus! There were dogs & horses, walkers and bikers, mopeds and motorbikes, sportscars with the tops down and SUVs... and that was just in the first 100m... ;)
Anyway - we did our 12k circuit up the hill and it all thinned out a bit, and people were very accommodating! It's the first time we've seen the windmills for days it has been so misty, so it was lovely to be out in the sun ;)
Once the mist went this morning Roy went out in the garden and did a bit of mowing and hedge clipping. I had my usual catch up on Messenger with the Five Escapees. Elaine has been struggling a bit this week, so we stayed on a bit longer for a chat about how people are coping with Lockdown generally, and how it is not going to be easy to gradually open things up again so that people can feel safe...and alert of course...
Anyway - time for Gin & nibbles, so that's a double whammy from me for Silly Saturday, a broken down gate for Derelict Sunday, and this evening's Corona Classics form Dolly and me:
Mozart - Eine kleine Nachtmusik
Frederic Chopin - Romance
