A day of mixed emotions

Today we concluded our bible study, first bible study for us conducted completely online. It was a really good study and I’m sad it’s over.

We then had a farewell lunch for Esther who’s leaving HK soon. She loved the Pandora bracelet we got her, yay.

It’s hard to say goodbye, and it feels it’s all too often living in an expat community, especially when the long-timers leave and you realise you’ve spent so much of your lives together.

We then headed over to the Mexican restaurant to have birthday margaritas for friend Allison who’s birthday it is today. A fun afternoon and something different after ages. I managed well the entire time I was out.

Back home to prepare a roast dinner and then a nice relaxed evening.
