Saxophone Recital

Still without a decent camera but I had to get a shot of Patrick at his saxophone recital.

It's so hard being a parent of a music student. After growing up in a musical family and sitting for many recitals of my other kids, I hear every wrong note. Am I wrong to say, "You could have done better. You should have practiced more." Or, should I say, "I'm proud of your effort."
