Testing 1-2-3! Photo entry numero Uno.
Today the man I call Red Beard and I went on a short walk to breakfast late this morning. We were bleary-eyed, un-showered and generally in a jolly mood because we both slept in. Let me tell you friend of mine, sleeping in is hard to come by in our lives these days. And was it glorious! Yes, a beautifully constructed morning after a late night out for dessert and drinks with friends after watching a play. Red Beard, whom I'll refer to as RB from now on had a nightmare however, as did I. After we exchanged our individual night horrors, we were on our way to eat.
Diamond Jim's diner is just a short 5 minute walk from our homestead, and the sun shone on our shoulders and smiling faces. I took my new camera to the diner to test out the "Food" photography pre-setting. I played around with different functions with subjects such as a cup of coffee and a half-eaten biscuit. Here is the photo result using ambient light and macro setting. If I were really hungry, this picture would make my mouth water..... melted butter, good-old jam from the tiny rectangular packet with a picture of the respective fruit printed on top. I have gone gluten-free in the past year finally so I do miss my biscuits terribly when I go to Diamond Jim's.
Looking forward to learning this little point-and shoot camera better. I celebrated my morning with bacon, eggs and gluten-free pancakes. Yay!
