~Purple prickly pretty~

Had a busy weekend. To tired to say to much! But this thistle flower caught my eye! It made me think of the movie Braveheart which is an all time favorite of mine. When the little girl passes a flower just like this to the boy that just buried his father. He saved the flower and dried it and gave it back to her when they met again in adulthood.
Ive often wondered if I could do the same. Despite being prickly they're rather beautiful.
