Dejected

I know insects don't have expressions, but this Conopid fly Sicus ferrugineus looked decidedly dejected by yet another day of grey and gloomy weather, rather echoing my own feelings. 

I know we desperately need the rainfall, but everything is now drooping and rather sad-looking. Hopefully, the sunshine forecast for the weekend will bring a bit of cheer to us all. I think we may have been spoiled by the abnormally sunny conditions in May!
