June storm

The easterly wind was surprisingly strong this morning. We could hear the roar of the surf from our house - a sound we more usually associate with winter storms. We walked in the late afternoon and marvelled at the surf and the craziness of a male swimmer who seemed to enjoy extremely wild swimming! As we got home it began to rain. It’s been a wet cool cloudy week here.
