The medal’s in the post!

This arrived this morning, recognition of B’s static bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. It’s a long time since he was competitive!!!

The most memorable event that I’ve been present at was the Piper Whisky Challenge back in the late ‘70’s when he was a member of the RAF team who won the race up and down Ben Lomond. 

They were each given a bottle of Pipers Whisky on the day and to my surprise a case of whisky followed a few weeks later !!!! I must add that I cannot stand the taste of whisky, so I didn’t share any of the goodies.
