took this when the sun was shining through the window creating this shadow on the wall of part of my electronic drum kit ..thought it looked pretty cool...
Saturday..good positive day ... 6 nations rugger has started and a good result for england ... Mrs W is feeling alot more positive ,, she went out with long serving family friend anna and two of her kids.. so pleased about that ...
my dastardly plan of being spare man today and not doing much was nearly realised.. abeit driving up to the jewel of the midlands , Stafford ..to get a trailor load of buns...Stafford .. a place so good they named it ..once....sitting just off the M6 like a big bunion ....picked up a brochure on things to do and see in stafford, it was a very thin booklet..opened it up and it just had a picture of the argos hub off junction 13 with tumbleweed blowing through it... im sure that someone felt sorry for it so put alton towers near it to cheer it up a tad...stafford...a place where people stay away in droves .. had a nice view of it though,, in the mirrors as headed back south .. poor stafford... and yes i know Basingstoke has the same reputation....but ....stafford. pifffft..anyway , lisa if ya still talking to me ,, its all done in the best possible taste . !!!
they are opening up another Macs in stafford services..(other brands of fast food chains are available) im glad its not BurgerKing.... theres alot of cute bunnies all hopping round the service area,, if burger king moved in that population would dwindle ..for burger king is the home of the big angus burger.... correction.,,, make that neddy burger .. and if it were stafford services it would be the 100 per cent bunny burger ..... so its a boring drive up to stafford and back.. too much time listening the voices in my head.. so had a good ole sing along to crowded house .... brilliant...
Mind you ,, the truck i had.....back to those damn mercedes axors ..jeez... feel like a cocktail shaker even when it stands still....suspension,, if in fact it has any..is of the stout iron variety,, german design at its very worse..starting with a brilliant concept and then designing in faults a plenty so you end up with a carthorse.. who undoubtedly ends up in a burger king burger.. only they made skips big enough surely theres a damn good case of putting these trucks in it.. I swear these trucks are the lovechild of Massey Ferguson and Tonka toys.. i think its mercedes idea of the full body workout whilst driving ..as it shakes rattle ad rolls down the road you experience the equivalent of a 10 mile jog whilst be catapulted round the cabin.. speaking of body,,the knees better,, when of course i say better.. i mean better than a lump of wood.. which isnt saying much.. having to favour my left leg my right hip is aching like a biatch.... so when i hobble along it resembles a fair impression of Quasimodo....
In saying all of that ..its been a great day really ..no really im not joking !!! good nite my bella bambinos..
