Spikey

As part of a packet of wildflower seeds which we planted in a bed close the dining room window, these massive spikey plants have joined the daises and cornflowers.   Don't know what they are but the leaves and stalks are covered in spikes so they are definitely designed to put off potential grazing.   We can't wait to see what the emerging flower will look like.
