In its fifth season

This red rose was a present for our ruby wedding five years ago (come September). This year I added manure, and it's producing more flowers than ever, even though it's in a garden tub. The close-up in my collage is one I cut for my specimen vase, to spare it from the gales. The rest are still growing and sheltered enough not to be damaged. They are doubtless enjoying drinking up the rain.

In September it will be our Sapphire Anniversary. Maybe a blue rose? (We already have blue hydgrangeas.) Any other ideas?
