Breezy Run

It should have been a rest day really, and the forecast had been a lot wetter than the weather we actually got. I'd planned a sewing day to complete putting together our WI banner we started last year. The squares were made by members to show things we have done and what our WI means to members.

By mid day I had cabin fever though and a run on my own is more appealing than a walk.

Post lunch I finished the machine sewing of the banner, then sat an watch The Queen whilst finishing off the binding.

WI this evening, which should have been our summer fayre, on this very wet night! Instead we had a very successful interactive meeting of drawing, poetry and a yes or no quiz learning who had ridden a camel, who could play an instrument, who had been to Barnard Castle...
