Eight months ago we celebrated my Dad's 70th birthday. and today we celebrated my Mum's, even though it's not her birthday till tomorrow.

Luckily, I arrived to collect her present to find that it wasn't ready this morning. The guy doing the engraving was about to etch 3rd Febuary 2013 on the vase we'd bought until I pointed out the r was missing. He then proceeded to change it to Feburary before I had to spell February for him. The trouble is, February is one of those words that looks wrong, even when it's spelled correctly, when you look at it for a long time.
