Gold Top . . .
Couldn't find a picture worth blipping today, so we drove round and round in ever-decreasing circles before aiming Mr Nikon at the wooden spires of St Elias's Ukranian Catholic Church at Brampton. Hoped there might be some spectacular snow on the roof, but no luck. Instead the spires basked in a wonderful warm golden glow in the fleeting afternoon sun, which broke through the clouds just as we arrived.
A gift from God, those of a religious inclination might declare. Probably, but I'd beg to differ. Surely, if there was a God, he, she or it would have made the windchill warmer than minus 18 - nearly froze my fingers off as I took a couple of hasty pix . . .
