A Rosie Between Two Thorns
Although it looks like it, this was not the case of Rosie the Photobombing Cow. It was simply that as Kempy and I finished our long days fly fishing and walked away from the River Wharfe at Beamsley, a herd of young Heifers followed us all the way back to the field edge as we climbed the fence. We had socially-distanced ourselves from one another all day, being typically half a mile apart as we fished. Rather stupidly, we forgot for this one final selfie.
A rather grumpy Kempy gave his day a 3-out-of-10 score, whilst I give it an ‘8’ or ‘9’. It was cold, raining and blowing a gale for nearly all of the day, but my 10 fish landed to his 3 was maybe the final decider.
