Wet pants.

We set off on our normal walk it was overcast but not raining, half way round the heavens opened and by the time we got home we were soaked to the skin, not a great feeling.

After drying off and having had a bit of lunch we decided to go out for a drive. We called at Broxa  farm for eggs and then set off over Ryedale towards Malton with  a mission in mind to find a poppy field. 

Ended our search at Wold Newton and the rain started again. Took a few shots of the goslings at the village pond also a beautiful clematis on the old post office building . We then went through the gate ( my Blip today) to visit the 11th century church of All Saints, not open unfortunately because of covid 19. (See extra)

Our poppy search was fruitless but we did have a good day despite the weather.

Still very stormy tonight and there’s  a yellow weather warning for more rain.
