Necessary

The mood this morning was sombre. There was a desire to fight from the Alpha males.
I kept my head down and continued painting the hall. Who thought that was a good idea? 6 doors and frames on each landing....... it is long overdue and the first person to chip the new paint will have to leave the house.
The beach was only a mile over our limit. It was windy but oh so gorgeous. A change of scene has certainly helped.
Later there was a trip to 6 shops looking for lime pickle. Mostly I walked past shops with too long a cue. Apparently there is a shortage.
