Shelter
I managed to book a slot at the National Trust Property Polesden Lacey and visited today. It was left to the NT by Margaret Greville in memory of her father - the brewer, William McEwan. The estate is 1400 acres and includes the house, gorgeous views, wonderful walks and a rose garden. Margaret Greville, who was a society hostess and philanthropist, is buried in the grounds and there is also a small pet cemetery too.
I was very pleased to see this thatched shelter as rain had been forecast. However, the weather was glorious so no need to take shelter!
