Porthluney or Caerhays Beach is a favourite destination. It involves a ferry crossing via the King Harry Ferry and then some nerve shredding country lanes. I say nerve shredding as some holidaymakers believe they should be tackled at 50+mph in their Chelsea Tractors.
As the beach is privately owned we were able to park, use the toilets and buy a coffee. Our first paddle in the sea of 2020 and may well lead to something a bit more adventurous as I eyed my surfboard hanging on the wall once we were back home.

Not quite the ferry from Malta to Gozo that we should have been on today nevertheless Clare and I had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
