Day 80 - Best Laid Plans

My friends Sue and Maxine and I were due to meet for afternoon tea just as lockdown started so that went out of the window. Since the rules have changed we haven’t managed to meet because of work commitments but finally today we were all free - I ordered take out afternoon tea from the local cafe and told them to bring flasks. 

Of course today it was freezing cold, throwing it down and blowing a gale, so we had to cancel again. 

Perhaps another day!
