Heart Of Stone

This is the David Livingstone statue which stands in Cathedral Square in front of Glasgow Cathedral and commemorates the Scottish born doctor, missionary and explorer. I thought it was appropriate at this time as one of the many things he is known for is attempting to suppress the Arab driven slave trade.

My album of the day is "Harvest" by Neil Young. I always return to this album with great affection. Sombre music with the exception of a couple of rockier numbers, but incredibly strong. Reminds me of Friday nights in my early teens, strong lyrical content with my highlights "Old Man" and "The Needle And The Damage Done".
