Young Robin

Today’s picture is of a young robin. It was sitting outside the kitchen window, but as soon as I had fetched my camera it flew away into the shrubs. The main picture has been cropped heavily, so it is not particularly sharp; the extra picture gives you some idea of how far away it was as my camera lens was using 300mm.
 
I spend some of the morning proofreading Victoria’s final assignments. She now has to revise for her final exam to get her degree, then she will do two more years to get further qualifications.
 
The temperature was sixteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon; another overcast day.
