Turtle amidst the duckweed

A hot sticky day in store for today, so we got out fairly early for a walk at Rowe Woods, but we still got hot and sweaty. Not a great deal to see today - mainly a few turtles and dragonflies. The original plan had been to stop at Penney’s on the way home, so Laura could return some things she had bought yesterday, but then she realized they have reduced hours at present, and didn’t open till noon! She had quite a shopping spree yesterday - she buys very little in Kuwait, finding the shops either on the cheaper side, but poor quality, or the other end of the scale, and more than she is prepared to pay! Also, they didn’t have changing rooms open, so she had to take a guess at sizes. So we went home and had a bit of lunch, Laura did some studying, then later in the afternoon, we both went back to Penney’s, and I bought myself a couple of new tops.
