The Heddles got around - when I was Third Mate on SS Uganda, we took a load of birdwatchers round Fair Isle, Shetland & the Western Hebrides.

At Lerwick the ship's officers were invited to lunch with the local dignitaries - found myself sitting next to Monsieur le Maire - & we talked of Heddles... apparently they have "Heddle" hills in Shetland.
