Today we started cleaning the pub to get ready for re-opening. The orangery is sparkling clean, literally from top to bottom. I also wiped every blackboard I could find, ready to get painted tomorrow.

Then I made beef bourguignon for dinner. Casseroles are not my strong point, but this was rather lovely. Bet it's the bottle of wine that made it.
