Matka...

...is a funny name for a dog. She's a strong individualist and together with her daughter decamped to M&E's neighbours for the summer and then returned when the nights were drawing in. In the mean time M&E had acquired Victor, a delightful retriever with truly international parents. I'll show you Victor in a future blip. His obedience should be an inspiration to certain other canines.

We had a wonderful evening meal with M&E and the Fs including A and J.

It's snowing again and it has caused the power to go down at least 45 times in the last hour.

It might interest some to know that rates for flats in Warsaw are about £200 per year and apparently there is a queue to be billed for it. Someone enquiring about it was told they would have to wait until 2016 for the bill!
