Birthday girl

Daughter C’s birthday today, not what they had planned - they would have been away, but we managed a garden celebration.  Not sure what little Lizzie made of the ‘candle’ in the amazing cake C’s friend had made!
It was a bit chilly but they had borrowed our gazebo which gave us a bit up shelter from the breeze.
I had a quick walk in St Ives this morning - lots of babies on and around the pond - the 8 cygnets are doing well and there were 8 mallard ducklings and 1 goosander youngster as well as a family of nuthatches.
