Flooded pinks

Every year, I wonder if the pinks time their flowering for the smaller tides. Today, and for the last two days, they have been flooded by the tide but the flowers remain, indeed have become pinker. 
In this photo, the tide was just about to cover the last small island left in front of us.
Tomorrow is, as ever, quiz nght, but high excitement as this week my turn to be quizmaster so finishing touches being applied to my masterpiece.....
