Not a dove

Earlier this afternoon I had a pair of doves sitting on the wall outside of my window. They looked stunning but chose not to wait around whilst I finished what I was doing and picked up a camera. 
Then this chap (lady?) appeared. Not quite so beautiful, but definitely not a rat-with-wings, and happy to pose for a couple of pictures.
