Giant pincushion flower

Or giant scabious.  

I blipped a bud on this plant back on 20/5, and the flowers are now opening fast.  I didn’t know what it was, but Chris Jepson made the right suggestion.  

The bees are loving it - and there may well be future blips as the flowers and buds are fascinating.
