Tiny Tuesday: Flower

Trisharooni's theme for today's TT blips is "flower". So I took a macro photo of the tiny flowers on our pyracantha shrub - they're at their best at the moment. That forms the main blip. (Tech details: tripod, macro lens on extension tubes, in-camera focus stack after waiting for the breeze to die down!)

Then I spotted some bees enjoying the nectar on the flowers, so I went for my telephoto lens and snapped a shot of one of them busy doing its job. This was done at 800 ISO and has been cropped a lot but the camera did quite a good job. My Editor & I couldn't decide between the photos, so you get that one as an extra. It's useful in giving scale, showing how small the flowers are.
