Horse Feathers

We had an afternoon walk around the village and came across these three next to a gate.  I confess to being a little confused as last time we went past a couple of weeks ago there were two horses and a very new foal in the field but a bit too far away for a decent shot on my phone.  There are still three of them, but that small one on the right looks a little bit too old to be the foal we saw.  We approached them to say Hello; I don’t know if they were asleep on their feet but there was no discernible movement from any of them.
