Hendrix has an animal sort of day

Rose nursery/kindergarten is open once more now that people are returning to work.
Daniel has been working from home throughout the lockdown but Joanne has not been able to, plus she's been on maternity leave with Buddy. She started this morning and Buddy and Hendrix arrived just before 08:00. 
We don't have them all day, she works 4 hours.
They were both no trouble at all, Hendrix chatters away while he is playing and Buddy laughs and laughs, except when he had his nap of course.
Hendrix had a plate of food but when he had a bag of Quavers afterwards the animals caught the cheesey scent and swarmed onto his plate.
Earlier a squirrel had wandered across the patio right outside the patio doors so he spotted it, and then we had constant visitations by the wood pigeons nesting in one of the trees. The right hand photo is Hendrix watching them pecking around on the lawn.
I saw one of the young pigeons early this morning. Jonty started barking at a cat that was in the garden, it made off like a rocket and went over the wall. Jonty may well have saved the young pigeon as it just stood there watching me going back and forth.
