Well after several months of declining health, my mum was finally given the official diagnosis of Alzheimer’s today.
Not a surprise and we were waiting for it to be official but it’s so hard for my dad. She’s been in hospital since the middle of April.
Now to wait for a social worker to be assigned to the family who will hopefully help us through the process of finding a suitable care home for mum. Easier said than done in these days of covid restrictions....
